About Moumita

A safe space to understand your mind, heal, and move forward.

I’m Moumita Bhowmick, a Counseling Psychologist. I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained — and I help them find their way back to themselves, gently and at their own pace.

Starting therapy can feel scary. It’s okay to take your time.

How I work

I primarily use a person-centered approach — which means I meet you where you are, without a script and without judgment. Your pace leads our work.

I provide an inclusive and LGBTQ+ affirming space. Whoever you are, whoever you love, whatever you’re working through — you are welcome here.

I understand how overwhelming things can feel sometimes. You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a clear plan. We can start wherever you are.

What guides my practice

A holistic, person-centered approach that leads with empathy and is grounded in evidence.

Unconditional Regard

A non-judgmental space to show up exactly as you are — messy, uncertain, complicated, all of it. Acceptance is where real change starts.

Evidence-Based

Warm, human, and grounded in clinical psychology. The tools we use are proven, but the relationship always comes first.

Inclusive & Affirming

LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally sensitive, and welcoming of every background, identity, and story. You don’t have to explain or defend who you are here.

Qualifications

Moumita Bhowmick

Counseling Psychologist

Counseling Psychologist with specialised training in person-centered therapy, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and evidence-based approaches for anxiety, depression, and relational healing. Every session is held with warmth, ethics, and deep respect for your story.

A gentle, honest approach to being human.

Your story, your pace

Every journey is different. Our work is shaped around your life, your context, and what you actually need — not a one-size-fits-all plan.

You lead, I walk alongside

Therapy isn’t about being told what to do. It’s about reclaiming your own voice and trusting it again.

Real, lasting change

We don’t just manage symptoms. We gently explore what’s underneath, so the changes you make are ones that actually hold.

Whenever you’re ready — I’m here.
